High above the clouds

Redesigned Trava, made her simpler (Yes the flower has a gender) and gave her a more pleasant color scheme. I feel the original design was just a bit too much. Sometimes simplicity can be more beautiful.

I used my "colored outline" style again, here. And I've decided that that's the CGI style I'm sticking with. It looks allot better this way. The colors are bolder and the image looks much cleaner overall. Also started coloring backgrounds first, then the main subject.This gets rid of those annoying white outlines I kept getting before. The gun was royal pain to do, though. I found out one very BAD thing about Photostudio 5 - the line drawing tool completely sucks. It displays the "preview line" thicker and longer than the actual line you get, so the lines are always smaller, shorter and sometimes off center from where I tried to place them. And I was depending on the tool for the gun, because unlike Krissie and the flower, it is inorganic and should be drawn with sharper lines.

As for Krissie herself, I love how she turned out, except I think her hair looks kinda odd in back.
